Osasuna Calls 22 Players for Season Finale Against Getafe
Osasuna and Ajax have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Catalan winger for the next five and a half seasons.
Club Atlético Osasuna and AFC Ajax have agreed to the transfer of forward Raúl Moro, who will join the club through June 30, 2031. Osasuna will pay 5 million euros for 50% of the player’s rights. The winger’s contract includes a 50 million euro LaLiga EA Sports buyout clause. Moro will be presented this afternoon at 6:30 p.m. at El Sadar.
Raúl Moro Prescoli (born Dec. 5, 2002, in Abrera, Barcelona) is considered a rising star in Spanish football, who made his debut in the top tier last year with Real Valladolid, scoring four goals and recording five assists from the left wing. Moro’s main attributes are skill and speed—he was the sixth-fastest player in LaLiga last year. He also led his team in shots, crosses and dribbles. His performances in Valladolid earned him a call-up to Spain’s under-21 national team for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, where he was named MVP in all of Spain’s group-stage matches against Slovakia, Romania and Italy. He was later transferred to Ajax, one of Europe’s leading clubs for recruiting and developing young talent. With the Dutch club, he played 21 games: five in the Champions League, 14 in the Eredivisie, and two in the KNVB Cup.
Moro began his career at a young age with clubs such as Promesas de Albrera, Igualada and Gimnástica Manresa, before moving to the top Catalan academies: first RCD Espanyol and later FC Barcelona. After his time with Barcelona, he joined Lazio in Italy. He went on loan to Ternana, then Real Oviedo, and later Real Valladolid, making a permanent move after helping Valladolid earn promotion. Now 23, and following his spell in Amsterdam, Moro joins Osasuna as a key part of the club’s sporting project.
